Custom Field Rules
- Limit the options within a dropdown custom field based on other fields on the purchase order.
- Allow the option to configure which PO or Line Item Level custom fields should be available for the department of the PO
- Allow the option to configure which PO or Line Item Level custom fields should be available for a budget/budgets selected on the PO
- Allow the option to create sub custom fields from parent drop down custom fields. For example, if I select "Aerial Manlifts" in an "Equipment Type" dropdown, then 3 other custom fields are displayed on the PO form which relate to the "Aerial Manlifts" option selected in the parent dropdown. Child custom fields can be of any custom field type, but parent custom fields are always drop down custom fields.

Brian MergedI think it would be helpful to have these. What I would like to see is that I can set up a dropdown field, and based on what is chosen within that field, another field might open up which is only required if you choose a particular item from the first dropdown.
For my own example of this, I currently have a dropdown field set up, which makes users choose between Product / Service / License / Subscription and what I was hoping was that if they chose Licence or Subscription, then another custom field would appear and require them to put in periods or other useful date information. -
